Three versions are known. The "cover" OBI version, just like the Taiwanese Watermark,
contains the German CD, and its OBI shows UFOCO number WUCD 1700. The cardboard boxed version has a gold CD with the same UFOCO number, and has an additional booklet (but no OBI). Unusually,
this gold CD says "Made in Germany". The third version again has a gold OBI similar to the Taiwanese Watermark. This CD is made in Taiwan. An included 12-page booklet has a biography, short
reviews, lyrics, and pictures.

are also some misprints with the number 903174557-2.2, which contain the album "Seal 2" from the artist "Seal".

The 1991 Reprise version, with the original Gaelic Book of Days, has its barcode
below the full track listing. The 1992 release with the English-Gaelic version has its barcode vertically centered, between the listings of Side 1 and Side 2 (split at tracks 6 and 7).
Both have clear plastic tape shells and cases. The BMG Record Club insert is identical to the 1991 Reprise insert except 1) the barcode is replaced by a manufacturing statement, and 2) the
spine has the additional "C 153190" number. The BMG tape shell is of opaque white plastic, and the case is clear and black plastic.

There is a later vinyl pressing which has the English-Gaelic version of Book of Days.
It is identifiable by a round cover sticker: "Includes "CARIBBEAN BLUE" and also "BOOK OF DAYS" as featured in FAR AND AWAY". The vinyl label is slightly changed - the outer circumferential
copyright print is rotated slightly clockwise, so that at the bottom the word "UNAUTHORIZED" is left of center and no longer split between the "O" and "R" (side B is shown).
